Obama closing the gap in Texas
February 15th, 2008 Posted in NewsComing off a week of sweeping victories from Washington State to Washington D.C., Barack Obama is starting to close the gap in the latest round of Texas polling. Conducted February 11-13th, the new Texas Credit Union League poll found that Obama now trails Clinton by only 8% (49%-41%), with 8% of voters still undecided. This is the closest the two have polled to date and shows Obama has real momentum going into the March 4th contest.
After analyzing the breakdown by region, Burnt Orange Report concludes that even with Obama down in this poll, he would still likely come out with a delegate lead. See their full analysis and commentary on the poll here.
