away!! Thousands have already signed up to attend, and it is sure to
be an exciting event. The Iowa Caucus is a mere 8 weeks away and the
race is on. We can’t just Hope he will secure the nomination, we
have to Believe he will, and every effort we make to support him
brings us one step closer to that goal. If you haven’t already made
your plans to attend, here’s how you can still sign up…
Event: Barack Obama at The Backyard, 13101 Highway 71 W, Austin, Texas
Date: Saturday, November 17th
Time: Doors open at 3:00p.m.
Tickets: $25.00 Guest & $15.00 Student (with valid ID)

Let’s show our Bayou City support! Join Houston for Obama that
Saturday morning to carpool/caravan from Houston to Austin. Departure
location will be from the Rice University campus, with a departure
time of 10:30a.m. We will meet in the West Stadium Lot off
Greenbriar, Entrance 13A and 13B. A campus map is located at http://
www.rice.edu/maps/maps.html.
If you are planning to attend, we encourage all participants to show
their support for Senator Obama by wearing their favorite Obama t-
shirt and displaying plenty of bumper stickers. Shirts and bumper
stickers will be available at the caravan meeting site.
